Sedimentality Studio
Logo and Makers Mark Mock Ups

Project Overview
Role: Brand Designer & Illustrator
Timeline: 2 weeks | 2025
Tech Stack: Adobe Illustrator
The Challenge
Sedimentality Studio, a small-batch jewelry business, needed a distinct Maker’s Mark—a signature stamp used to authenticate and brand their metalwork. The goal was to create a mark that felt organic yet precise, capable of being legible even when scaled down to a few millimeters and stamped into precious metals.
The Creative Approach
This project began as a collaborative surprise initiated by a mutual friend. To provide the studio with a comprehensive range of options, I developed a suite of 15 distinct mockups.
My process focused on:
Scalability: Ensuring the linework remained clear at miniature sizes.
Materiality: Visualizing how the mark would look when physically indented into silver, gold, and textured clay.
Brand Alignment: Balancing the "sedimentary" and earthy aesthetic of the studio with a professional, artisan feel.
The Result
I delivered a curated lookbook of 15 concepts, ranging from minimalist monograms to organic, nature-inspired icons. This allowed the client to explore different "personalities" for their brand before committing to a final physical stamp.
